Gateway Lodge No. 8501 met at the Witney Masonic Centre for their October meeting; specifically to carry out some necessary administration. With just a quorum of five, the Worshipful Master, assisted by the Junior Warden, the Director of Cermonies, the Almoner and the Secretary opened the lodge with adapted ritual. The necessary business, administration and propositions were carried out and the lodge was closed.
Four of the quorum then retired to a local hostelry for an adapted festive board of ‘Bang Bang’ chicken noodles and a pint in the Como Lounge.
It was fabulous to meet up again; let’s all hope we can all get back to our Freemasonry very soon.
